Body Paint 3. Autumn Colors

Yesterday I did the third shoot in my body painting series out in Frick Park. As some of you know, I am working on a photo series throughout the year that involves painting people in various color schemes. I started the project mostly to have some creative fun but also to gain experience with portraiture and off-camera flash.

This shoot was Autumn themed and the paint design is supposed to represent a tree with colorful, falling leaves and a few crows flying around.

Of all my planned shoots, this one is the most timely as it had to be completed before all the leaves fell off, in the mid-afternoon for decent ambient light and no rain. Fortunately we had perfect weather and aside from a bit of mud here and there we had a great shoot.

Thanks to Katie for modeling and Arthur Wessel for assisting with lighting.

Good images, I like the idea of natural body painting in a natural environment.
